movie review: the change-up
rude, crude and hyper-sexual. the change up is everything every guy wants in a date-night movie. jason bateman and ryan reynolds star as 30-something friends since childhood, both un-satisfied with their lives. bateman's a successful lawyer, with a great wife and family. reynolds, a struggling actor who makes up for his less-than-stellar professional life with an all star, er, personal life. after a night out, the duo stop by a park fountain to- what else- relieve themselves. turns out the fountain has magical powers and the next morning jason and ryan wake up in each other's bodies. they're not reinventing the wheel with this switching bodies comedy, but the sharp writing and side story-lines make up for the lack of originality. bateman and reynolds are joined on screen by funny lady leslie mann and hot-girl-of-the-moment olivia wilde, who can each hold their own against both guys' comedic chops. if you're looking for mindless entertainment that'll make you laugh, and get you out of the summer heat for a good two hours, definitely check out the change up. but, if you're easily offended, you might just want to stick to a screening of the smurfs.

what is this??
um, kris jenner. why? but thank you. thank you so much for this.
