the wait is "ova" but i wish it weren't

rihanna, rihanna. first, you reintroduce yourself to the music world with "russian roulette" and now this. "wait your turn" is the second single off riri's new studio album, rated r, and it's another bummer. where's the good girl gone bad creativity? i need another umbrella, not dark and twisted b-side-worthy music! while i like "wait your turn" better than "roulette," i'm not in love with it. it's up-tempo and is more likely to get stuck in your head, but i don't know that it'll chart. half the song sounds like it went through whatever autotune machine they use on lil wayne, too. i understand chris brown put rihanna in a dark place, but why do we all have to suffer? rihanna will appear on good morning america and 20/20 this thursday to discuss the whole chris brown incident for the first time with diane sawyer. now, that, i'll turn in for.

who needs the macy's thanksgiving day parade when you have the world series? the cast of glee got redemption from their boot by nbc from the parade by getting to perform the national anthem during the world series (which is aired by fox/pushed a new episode of the show back 2 weeks). though, i wish it had been more of the cast doing some sort of cool arrangement than here's amber riley supported by the cast. though i do love me some mercedes. check out the performance above and don't forget to pick up the first official soundtrack from the cast out tomorrow.
