lindsay, please don't stop this

because i think i'll really want to see this movie. model/heiress/gossip girl-cameo star lydia hearsh (nee shaw) is set to star in dogs in pocketbooks, a roman a clef-style movie reportedly based on lindsay lohan's life. the film will follow an a-list actress as she navigates her fast-paced young hollywood life, which includes multiple rehab stints and an eccentric team of crazy people. while page 6 originally reported writer/director charles casillo as saying the movie was based on lindsay lohan, casillo has since back-tracked to say the character is a mix of young hollywood (think lindsay, britney, paris) and old hollywood (marilyn). tmz reports that lindsay and her team (which probably means just her mom, dina) are pursuing legal action against the film for not getting lindsay's consent/permission/input/giving her a role (ok, i made that last one up) for the film. they have a good chance of winning, after e-trade paid lindsay off with a big settlement, after she sued the online company for airing a commercial starring a baby named lindsay. because there's never been another person named lindsay in the world. i just hope lindsay focuses more on her health, and less on greedy lawsuits, so that dogs and pocketbooks can actually make it to the big screen.
