last night, paul rudd hosted saturday night live for the second time. the veteran funny man brought some life to a season of snl that's had its moments, but is far from consistent. naturally there were some duds (they keep brining back this bizarre talk show concept that just doesn't work, and are already over-using jay pharoah). the new cast members (most notably vanessa bayer) are definitely helping out, but snl still relies heavily on kristen wiig to carry a lot of the bits. here are some highlights.
