here are the highlights, the winners and the what just happened moments.
gaga opened the show. as a man. and then continued to act as this man (jo calderone) for the remainder of the show. she's special. really special.
these two can do no wrong. ok, kanye can. but never, never jay.
if "shutting it down" were in the dictionary, this performance would be next to it.
this was great, but i have two questions: 1) why were children performing it? 2) why wasn't this a medley of britney songs performed by today's younger pop stars?
best vma performance ever? i mean she's currently carrying jay-z's baby. or is it destiny's child? (see what i did there?)

because it makes so much sense to perform a song that requires 95% bleeping.
