britney won't be "seeking amy" 

britney spears is gearing up to shoot a video for her next single, but it won't be the previously announced "if u seek amy." the song's name is too racy for mainstream radio and, therefore, the song is going under a makeover...to become "if u see amy." very creative, i know.  however, this change doesn't really make the song make sense.  see, the current title, if said either rapidly or very, very slowly comes out to sound like the she's saying "f-u-c-k me." dirty, i know.  it seems like this change could hinder the success of the song - it seems like the more the song is censored, the more attention is brought to the fact that it's dirty. anyway, the song will probably still do fine - the first two singles ("womanizer" and "circus") have been climbing the charts rapidly.  the pic at left is from brit's rehearsals of her upcoming concert tour.  

osbourne arrested, and not ozzy

kelly osbourne, daughter of ozzy and sharon, was arrested earlier this month in connection with an assault incident that happened with british gossip columnist zoe griffin, with news of the star's jail time just breaking today.  zoe called kelly's fiance, model luke worrel, "stupid," which infuriated the singer/actress/reality star.  kelly turned herself in for the incident at the beginning of 2009 and was released on bail (which is why we've seen her in public the last couple of weeks).  kelly is set for a trial in march, but probably won't face prison - just a fine or community service.

24 fans, grab a tissue

jack bauer is currently having his next-to-last hurrah. kiefer sutherland, in a recent interview with the uk daily mirror, announced that he and the fox show's producers would call it quits after 8 seasons, or days in 24 time.  that means just one more day after the current season, which just kicked off.  good things can't last forever...and won't for kiefer's character. sutherland said that jack is a "human figure" and all human figures are "tragic." meaning there's no getting out of life alive.  but, jack might not be dying.  there has always been rumors of a movie post-series cancelation.
