mandy moore, married woman.
mandy moore and her on-again beau, ryan adams, tied the knot in savannah, georgia tuesday to the surprise of many. the ceremony was reportedly very intimate, with just close friends and family in attendance. mandy is said to be "very, very happy" now after a string of failed romances with zach braff and dj am, just to name a few. i'll be interested to see if this is a pairing that will last the test of time, or if it will falter horribly. the duo were only engaged for about a month before the marriage. i hope mandy is able to get back in the music or movie biz soon. she's reportedly stepped away from the spotlight to appease adams, who originally broke up with the star because of "enormous fame." since when has mandy moore's fame been enormous? her next album, amanda leigh, is scheduled to be released in late may of this year. it is the first record to be released by indie label storefront recordings, which was founder by mandy's manager. a single was released as part of mandy moore's campaign with gain detergent but hasn't taken off. i hope the new album is a lot more pop-y than her last couple of efforts. check out "i could break your heart any day of the week" above and tell me what you think. i like it but don't know if it's meant for radio.
