here it is. the hills and soon to be solo reality star audrina patridge hits the big screen in october with a remake of 1983's the house on sorority row, simply titled sorority row. the cast is rounded out by hollywood offspring rumer willis, real world alum jamie chung, and even stevens' vet margo harshman. it looks like the overall plot of the film has been overhauled since the original so it'll be fresh to viewers. that's probably about the only plus. the acting looks pretty ridiculous, especially audrina's. plus, she dies in the preview! how big can her part be? i guess she just sets up the whole plot? and why are they releasing the preview so early? that probably means the movie is a big bomb but they want to create a lot of buzz around it.
ellen lands oprah
for only the third time, oprah will be sharing the cover of her o magazine. lady o first shared the cover with gal pal gayle, followed by michelle obama in this month's issue. next up? ellen degeneres. ellen has joked over the past few years that she should get to share some magazine rack space with the diva of daytime and, now, she will. after ellen called oprah and was put on hold for 11 minutes, oprah decided a cover of her eponymous mag was the least she could do. check out the video from ellen's friday show above. i would venture to guess ted no longer has a job at harpo studios.
lohan gone loopy
i'm a little youtube mad today. check out lindsay lohan's new ad campaign for italian design house fornarina above. supposedly, the ad is supposed to tell a modernized "alice in wonderland" story, but i just don't see it. what's with all the words? makes no sense. but at least she's making some money right? lohan is also on the cover of nylon's latest issue. just a whole lot of shameless self promotion, right? even if lohan has said in her past that she doesn't like press when she's not promoting some of her "art." lohan spreads what sounds like a line of bull in the issue, saying she's in discussions with sean penn for a new project. check out the article here.
